Roanoke Rapids Public Library and HCC’s Department of Interior
Design are currently working together on plans for the
remodeling of the library’s interior. Two presentations have
been given outlining cost effective yet innovative solutions for
this project. Various ideas and suggestions were discussed at
the meetings attended by library personnel and members of the
library’s advisory committee and city administration.
Making the presentations were: Stephanie Hill, Mary Mitchell,
Barbara Smith, and Bonnie Vest, and their instructor, Alice
Vaughan.
Our library is a vital part of the services offered to the
people of our city and surrounding community. Contributions from
local businesses, and the community at large, will be needed to
make this renovation become a reality. |
