The Interior Design curriculum is designed to prepare students for a variety of job opportunities in both residential and commercial/contract design. The focus is technical knowledge, professional practices, and aesthetic principles.
Curriculum content includes residential and commercial/contract design, architectural drafting, computer-aided design (CAD), universal design, basic design, graphic presentation, history of furnishings, products, business practices and general education.
Student’s also have the opportunity for enrichment activities such as reality projects, field trips to manufacturers, showrooms, historical sites, museums as well as seminars and product shows.
