HCC's BLET Academy graduates 45th class
 
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) cadets graduated in a ceremony on campus, May 14. This marked HCC's 45th BLET Academy graduation. Northampton County Sheriff's Office provided the Honor Guard. Chief T.R. Hathaway of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department was the guest speaker.

  • Richard Preston Jacobs
  • Jeffrey Todd Mason
  • Rose Mizelle
  • Michael Woodrow Moseley
  • Charles David Porter
  • Austin Cleveland Simmons
  • Timothy Strickland
Awards and recognition were also presented. Mizelle earned the Academic Excellence award. Top Gun honors went to Bozard. Moseley garnered the Physical Fitness award. The Top Driver award went to Simmons. Porter was recognized as class president.
