HCC holds Male-Female Discussion Series

WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) hosted the first Male-Female Discussion Series on Nov. 20 from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 108. A panel of HCC men and women discussed topics such as the needs of men versus the needs of women, how social networking has changed dating and the effects of fashion choices on dating.

The event was moderated by HCC Title III and Sponsored Programs/PRIDE Daniel Lovett and was sponsored by the PReparing men for Intellectual, acaDemic, & Educational success (PRIDE) of Halifax Mentoring Program and the Women of Excellence.

This event was the first in a planned series. Refreshments were served immediately following the discussion panel.
