HCC to hold registration for Spring 2014 Semester

WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) will begin early registration for the spring 2014 semester on Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Late registration will take place on Jan. 6 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Jan. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. New student orientation will be held on Jan. 7 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Prior to taking the placement test, students must complete HCC's application online or visit the Admissions Office in Room 312. Students must also submit a copy of their signed Social Security card and an official high school or college transcript (if applicable) in a sealed envelope.

Students can apply for financial aid online or in Room 337. They will also attend a new student orientation session, register for classes with advisors, get an official class schedule from the cashier’s office and purchase books at the bookstore. In order to purchase books, students must have HCC identification cards, which are available in Room 309.
