C.L. Kelly Educational Scholarship established at HCC
WELDON, N.C. – C.L. Kelly Educational Scholarship funds of $15,000 were recently established at Halifax Community College (HCC) for the HCC Foundation Inc. to provide student scholarships.

In order to be eligible for scholarship consideration, a student must be a resident of Halifax County and a citizen of the United States. Students must demonstrate need, qualities of leadership, good citizenship, community spirit and academic progress. Recipients will be selected through the application process of eligible candidates who meet the scholarship criteria and they must maintain a 2.5 grade point average. The scholarship will not discriminate for or against any students because of race, sex, national origin, religion or disability.
