| PURPOSE: |
To recognize and promote academic achievement for
students enrolled at Halifax Community College. |
| AMOUNT: |
The award is in the amount of $ 750 and is paid in
the following increments: $300 for Fall; $300 for Spring; and
$150 for Summer. |
| CONDITIONS: |
Recipients must meet the following conditions: |

Enroll full-time in the Automotive Program
(diploma) at Halifax Community College. |
| |
Display academic promise as evidenced by attaining
and maintaining a GPA of 2.0. |
| |
Provide two letters of recommendation recognizing
the applicant’s qualities of character and leadership. |
| |
Financial Need is considered for this award. Recipient may receive other forms of financial assistance. |
| SELECTION: |
Recipient is selected by the Halifax Community
College Financial Aid Committee based on the established
criteria. |
