Online Orientation

The distance learning online orientation is online, meaning that you do not have to visit campus to complete it. You do, however, need to complete some steps that will introduce you to Blackboard and that will provide you with instructions regarding your username and password and how to login to Blackboard.

The distance learning online orientation involves these steps:

Step 1: Access your HCC G-mail account. To do this, click here: HCC Gmail.

Step 2: Click this link for a brief introduction to Blackboard: HCC Online Orientation

Step 3: Login to HCC's Blackboard server. Click this link: Blackboard.
Although you may be able to login to Blackboard, you might not have any courses listed. Please note that Blackboard courses should be available the first day of classes. Instructors make courses available at their discretion, so please be patient. If you do not see a course listed by the end of the first day of classes, please contact your instructor. Click here for list of faculty names and email addresses: Distance Learning Faculty.
