Joint Program for Youth Held at HCC
Halifax County young people from area high schools had a chance to explore career opportunities at HCC recently through the JobReady/Pathways Partnership cosponsored by HCC and the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce. Students from Northampton High Schools - East and West and Northwest Halifax participated in the event.

Halifax Community College hosted a Pathways - JobReady opportunity for area high school students in October. The event was a joint venture cosponsored by HCC and the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The Roanoke Valley Pathways activity is modeled after the successful Leadership Roanoke Valley program geared toward local business leaders, and it targets area high school students to help prepare them to make sound decisions for college.
