Cosmetology Program Boasts Mother/Daughter Duo

Betty Prince and her daughter Felicia Prince, both of Roanoke Rapids, are enrolled together in HCC's Cosmetology program. They have even managed to arrange that their work stations be side-by-side!

Betty is a former employee and recent victim of layoffs at WestPoint Stevens. She came back to school to "start over."

Felicia, her daughter, is a single young mother, and she is seeking a career.

The two are already thinking about opening up a shop together when they finish the HCC program.
