HCC CHILD CARE CENTER CO-HOSTS EXPO FOR PARENTS

In celebration of the Week of the Young Child, the HCC
Child Care Center and the RiverStone Child Development Center partnered
for a Child Care Expo for parents from both agencies. The event was a
huge success with more than one hundred parents, children, and community
visitors attending. Volunteer parents manned information booths to
provide information on local resources for children.
Dental screenings were conducted and fingerprint ID
kits were provided for each child.
One of the highlights for the children attending was
the chance for discovery. All of the children enjoyed climbing and
exploring the Roanoke Rapids Fire Department's ladder truck and the NC
Wildlife Department's boat. |
