Job Fair 2002 at the Kirkwood Adams was an opportunity for HCC to promote the new partnership opportunity with Lowe's to offer educational assistance to potential employees. Here, HCC's Joy Cooley talks to Calvin Johnson about help that is available at HCC.

Job Fair 2002 at the Kirkwood Adams Community Center produced lines out the door of people looking for jobs on April 17. The big draw was Lowe's with people filling out applications, hoping to secure employment at their new facility in Northampton County. Ann Newbern, HCC recruiter, and Therman Taylor, literacy recruiter, manned the HCC booth and talked (all day) to prospective students.
