CANDIDATES COMPLETE HCC CRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTRUCTORS’
SCHOOL

Eleven students from the criminal justice community
recently completed the 81-hour instructors’ course at Halifax
Community College, sanctioned by the North Carolina Department of
Justice. The participants received certificates of completion from the
NC Criminal Justice Standards Division. Their certification will now
qualify these officers to teach blocks of instruction in both the
Department of Corrections and in other law enforcement fields.
The most recent instructors’ school class included representatives
from Caledonia and Odom Correctional Centers and law enforcement
personnel from Halifax County. R.K. Carroll (pictured second from left
– rear) was the school director. |
