Ms. Perkins received a B.A. in Government and Politics from George Mason University and the M.S. degree in Criminal Justice: Police Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. She has completed coursework towards a doctorate in Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine.

Ms. Perkins will be moving to the area from San Diego, California.

The spring session for the HCC Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) School begins Monday, January 28, 2002. The training program ends May 7.

Shawn Rudd is a graduate of Nash Community College with a degree in Information Systems Technology. In addition, Shawn is an A+ certified computer technician and has many years of computer experience. He lives in Macon, NC with his wife Carisa.
