Concealed Weapons Carry class slated

Halifax Community College’s Continuing Education Department will offer a Concealed Weapons Carry class from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 20, at the Twin City Rifle Club in Pleasant Hill, N.C. The cost is $65.

Students must be 21 years of age or older and should bring/wear: loose fitting clothing, hat or cap, sunscreen if sensitive to the sun, rain gear if needed, lunch and/or snacks. Eye and ear protection will be provided. Soft drinks, refrigeration and a microwave are available. Each student will need a handgun and at least 50 rounds of ammunition.
