HCC Foundation to hold first-ever Golf Tournament to benefit students

The Halifax Community College (HCC) Foundation will hold its first-ever golf tournament on Thursday, Sept. 16 at Chockoyotte Country Club in Weldon. The tournament will begin with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. and tee-off with a scramble format start at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds from the HCC Foundation Golf Tournament provide assistance for student scholarships, activities and expenses. Cost is $50 per golfer, $200 for a golf foursome and the tournament is open to the public.
