HCC to offer Nurse Aide II Course

Halifax Community College’s (HCC) Continuing Education Department will offer a Nurse Aide II class Monday through Thursday from Sept. 1-Nov. 17. Jan Humphries, RN is scheduled to teach the course from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Weldon campus. Clinicals will run from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., starting Oct. 14.

The Nurse Aide II Training Program consists of classroom, laboratory and clinical components. With the successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to apply for listing on the N.C. Board of Nursing Nurse Aide II Registry.

Registration is required and costs $194.50. The instructor will provide more information about class requirements and expenses. Interested students should contact the Continuing Education Department (Building 400) from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday for admission requirements and registration information.
