Centre raffle winners announced

The Centre at Halifax Community College recently held a fund raising raffle. The drawing was held June 30. Cash prizes were awarded. Winners were: $500 prize—Shaun Stokes; $300 prize—Farris Motors; and, $150 prize Dubley Leggett. HCC Trustee Frank Avent III won $100 for selling the most tickets. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Centre programming. A total of $2,767 was raised. Pictured above is Ruby Ward with $500 prize winner Shaun Stokes.
