Student Services to hold HCC 2010 Open House

Halifax Community College’s Student Services Division will hold an open house from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3-6 p.m., Tuesday, Apr. 20 in The Centre. The event will highlight recent innovations in a variety of areas.

Faculty and staff will be available to discuss offerings in the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Business, School of Legal & Public Service, School of Vocational & Industrial Technology, School of Nursing & Allied Health, and Continuing Education & Community Services.

Staff will also be available to discuss admissions and free student G-mail accounts, careers, financial aid, PRIDE male mentoring, Women of Excellence, disability services and counseling, Student Support Services, and JobLink and 12-in-6 programs.

Tours will be provided in several locations including the nursing simulation laboratory, Cosmetology, the Wellness Center, Advertising and Graphic Design, Early College and the HCC Dental Clinic.
