The Greenhouse & Grounds Maintenance Program at Halifax Community College has announced its annual spring plant sale. The sale will run weekdays (Monday - Friday), Apr. 12 through Apr. 30, plus Saturday, Apr. 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day of the sale.

Choose from an assortment of annuals such as geraniums, Boston ferns, marigolds, and new annuals including wave petunias, angelonia, helichrysum, and scaevola. Herbs and vegetables will also be available: tomatoes, squash, rosemary and basil, among others. P erennials such as daylilies, dianthus, holly hocks, and achillea (yarrow) and more are available. The sale also features many flowering and foliage hanging baskets.

The spring sale will be held in the greenhouses at the far end of the property on the HCC main campus. All proceeds from the sale go directly back into the program to cover expenses.
