Profession & the Home establish scholarship at HCC
The Roanoke Valley
Chamber of Commerce and the Women of Business, Profession &
the Home have established the Roanoke Valley Chamber of
Commerce Women of Business, Profession & the Home
Scholarship at Halifax Community College. The scholarship
will recognize and promote academic achievement for a
student enrolled at HCC who is in need of financial
assistance.
The scholarship will be awarded to a
student who maintains a 3.78 grade point average and is
enrolled full-time at HCC. Applicants will need to provide
recommendation letters recognizing their citizenship
qualities as well as community involvement through volunteer
activities or leadership roles. The recipient will need to
demonstrate financial need and be enrolled in a healthcare
or physical fitness field of study.
