HCC EMPLOYEE’S DAUGHTER
GRADUATES FROM PMP
For the past two years,
select managers from North Carolina state government have
worked to improve their skills and become better leaders
through the Certified Public Manager Program (PMP).
Valerie Bonner of Apex, N.C.,
graduated as a Certified Public Manager on Oct. 1, at the
N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh. She is an Information
Technology Manager with the N.C. Department of Revenue and
manages a team of client server developers that perform the
operation and project-related software development life
cycle activities for the agency’s web applications. Bonner
is the wife of Michael Bonner and the daughter of Howard and
Ida Dupee of Littleton, N.C. Howard is a member of the
Housekeeping staff at Halifax Community College.
The PMP is intended to increase the quality, efficiency and
productivity of state government by improving the leadership
abilities of employees in management positions. To graduate
from the program, Bonner completed 10 courses and a project. |
