Department Head/Cosmetology Instructor at Halifax Community College Kenneth Harris and Teresa Hight attended the fall workshop for Community College Cosmetology Instructors recently. Held at Davidson County Community College in Lexington, N.C., in early October, the topic for the class was "Feeling Burn-Out, You Need a Tune-Up." An overview and updated news from the board was given as well as an update of program software and a PowerPoint presentation of the new National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology, Inc. examination for cosmetology students.
