HCC STUDENTS TAKE "THE ULTIMATE ROAD TRIP"

First-year Halifax Community College students enjoyed "The Ultimate Road Trip: Campus2Career," a dynamic presentation on Aug. 21, that focused on the choices students make during college. The program was made possible through corporate sponsorships.

Presenter Patrick Henry gave students information to help them during their first year in college and described how to use their college experience to drive toward future career success.

Topics covered included: managing the transition to college, getting great grades and time management, the power of work experience and internships, meaningful extracurricular involvement, managing online time and activities, and the importance of starting now.
