HCC INTERIOR DESIGN VISITS
WILLIAM IVEY LONG EXHIBIT
 |
| Students from the Interior Design department at
Halifax Community College, along with art instructor Edris Daughtry
and Interior Design department head Alice Vaughan, recently traveled
to Wilmington, N.C., to view an exhibit featuring the work of famed
costume designer William Ivey Long. Located at the Cameron Art
Museum, students experienced Long’s design ideas, workmanship and
creativity. The display pays homage to Long’s early career as well
as present day masterpieces. Pictured above, from the left, are Faye
Davis, Edris Daughtry, Mary Mitchell, Jeneane Drewette and Alice
Vaughan. |
