as outstanding students at the annual Academic Excellence
Luncheon. The event, which is in its 11th year, was held at
the North Raleigh Hilton. Two students from each community
college received the Academic Excellence medal from System

chair of the State Board of Community Colleges.
Agee, an HCC graduate with an Associate in Applied Science
in Business Administration degree and a student in the
Office Systems Technology Program, is from Gaston, N.C.

Transfer) Program, is from Roanoke Rapids.
The recommended criteria for selections include current
