HCC hosts
Job Fair 2008

Halifax Community College
hosted Job Fair 2008 at The Centre, Apr. 24. The job fair
provided easy access to area employers, various employment
opportunities and networking resources at no charge.
Career opportunities included administrative and clerical
positions, banking, child care, community social services,
corrections/security, computer technology, construction
labor, customer service call centers, industrial production
and maintenance, nursing, journalism, retail sales, sales
and management, warehouse distribution, truck driving, and
transportation.
More than 50 companies participated including AAA of the
Carolinas, BB&T, Caledonia Correctional Institute, Chowan
University, Connectinc., CPTA Bus Services, Debbie’s
Cleaning Service, Eastern Medical Transport, Emporia
