Early Education Class hosts Children’s Science Fair

Halifax Community College students in the Exploration Activities class, Early Childhood Education, hosted a mini science fair for children in the Child Care Center, Apr. 18, to celebrate “The Week of the Young Child.” Students manned a variety of stations including “Straw Atomizer,” “Sea Shells,” “Leaf Rubbing,” “Tornado in a Bottle,” “Butter Churning,” “Sorda Pop,” “Fossil Dig,” and “Colorful Butterflies.” The fair gave the children a chance to see science at work up close and have fun learning about it.
