Free Math Workshop offered for HCC Parents

Halifax Community College Mathematics Instructor Chuckie Hairston (standing) conducted a free workshop, “Become an ACE Parent! Learn to Assist in your Child’s Education” for students, faculty and staff, Apr. 15. The workshop consisted of parent/child activities that strengthen math education. Free take-home materials were given to attendees. The workshop was provided through a mini-grant from the N.C. Community College Faculty Association.
