HCC Holds Haz Mat Class

Halifax Community College Continuing Education offered a Haz Mat Technician class, which concluded Apr. 3. Participants learned how to deal with hazardous material spills and cleanup. Students included Cecil Arthur, Ernest Brown, Tony Butcher, Jeanette Daniel, Phillip Lynch, Ronnie Matthews, Reponzail Pitt, Gary Pulliam, Douglas Robertson and James Williams with Kennametal Inc.; Douglas Belch, Elizabeth Brawner and Delbert Wilkes from Chowan County EMS.
