Educational Philosophy:

I believe teaching to be a truly noble profession. To bring about knowledge, understanding and clarity where it did not previously exist is a priceless experience. Helping people in the community understand and discover science in the world around them seems almost philanthropic. Teaching in the community college setting is an excellent opportunity for me to teach my life’s love, biology. The study of biology is exciting and dynamic, with an ever changing body of knowledge. By constantly questioning our current knowledge, we can better understand the world around us. The study of the human body is an amazing journey, and I am extremely fortunate to be able to explore it with my students.
