Personal Profile:
I was born in York, PA, and moved to Charleston, SC
in 2006.
There, I taught high school biology for three
years and moved to Murfreesboro, NC in 2009.
Educational Philosophy:
I believe that building positive relationships with
students is of paramount importance in fostering a successful educational
experience.
Making the content relevant and meaningful to
the individual student is a critical component in improving both content
mastery and retention.
I am passionate about both learning and my
discipline.
I teach my students that science is a dynamic,
changing body of knowledge and what is considered scientific fact today,
may not be so tomorrow. By constantly questioning our current knowledge,
we can better understand the world around us.
