Personal profile:

Philip Pair earned his B.S. degree in Psychology from Longwood University in 1996. He also earned a M.S. in Community and College Counseling from Longwood University in 2000. He also pursued further graduate study in sociology.

He is the father of two children and is a native of Southside Virginia where he currently resides.

Educational philosophy:

Education is not about learning what to think, but improving one's skills on how to reason and think critically. A good education give us the skills to see the world from several perspectives. It also helps us realize that most things are relative.

Course Taught:

Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of the Family, Social Problems, Social Psychology, General Psychology and Developmental Psychology.
