PERSONAL PROFILE:
Born and raised
in Siler City, NC, I have lived in Eastern North Carolina for more than 30
years. I have worked in many areas of nursing throughout Halifax County,
and continue to work occasionally as a staff nurse at Halifax Regional. I
enjoy reading, needle work and time with family when away from school.
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY:
I am a firm
believer in life-long learning. If we are content that we have all of the
knowledge we need, we will be left behind by the world around us. When we
recognize that everyone has something to share, the mutual exchange of
information is an education for the student as well as the instructor. As
an instructor, I believe my role is that of encouraging the question as
well as providing information.
QUOTE:
"It is never too
late to revise your dreams."
