Educational philosophy:
Like any other forms of life, humans are dynamic organisms that
interact with each other and their environment. Dr. Wollan views learning
as an interactive process where the instructor helps students to
understand the content of psychology and how psychologists gather and
interpret data. He believes that for students to learn psychology, they
must participate in the learning. Thus, his focus is on scientific
thinking and analysis that characterizes psychological thought. To this
end, he attempts to encourage students to not just read and listen, but
also attempts to provide activities in psychological investigation.
