Educational Philosophy

Most people have probably heard the phrase: "Those that can, do; those that can't, teach."  My philosophy of education is that if a person can't do something, they have no business teaching it, because education does not come strictly from books.   How a person learns best is different for each person, so teaching styles have to vary to reach all types of learners.  It is important for any instructor to find out how each student learns best, and incorporate as many learning styles as possible in educating students.  I believe that education and learning are life-long experiences, a person does not stop learning simply because they are no longer in a formal learning environment.
